Wireless monitoring system

Eaton’s high-capacity wireless emergency lighting system delivers cable-free convenience, fingertip remote control and best-in-class security. Eaton’s new, mobile app-controlled wireless emergency lighting monitoring system shortens installation times, as well as eliminating costly data cable fault-finding. The system’s single, high-capacity, cloud-connected mesh network is secured by a unique key and Eaton cybersecurity approved technology. It can run up to 1024 units in 16 digital zones over multiple floors. Luminaires are either digital native wireless with embedded radio or selected from the proven, wide CGLine+ range and fitted with a wireless emulator module. Easy commissioning and maintenance are via Building Safety Manager, Eaton’s intuitive mobile app available in Android and iOS. Fully integrated into Eaton’s building safety management system (BSMS), this complements a similarly user-friendly web app for remote monitoring, email notifications and logbook access.

BSMS: system-wide control that's always up to date

Eaton's cloud-based building safety management system (BSMS) has come a long way from its early days as solely a monitoring tool. Today's BSMS is your secure, real-time interface for all life safety systems via mobile or web app – including wireless monitored emergency lighting – enabling rapid, targeted interventions to keep buildings, operational and occupants safe. It also securely stores self-test compliance evidence and logbooks in the cloud.

The beauty of BSMS extends beyond its reach – it's always fully up to date. Every time you use the mobile app to connect to the system for commissioning, configuration, maintenance or access to your monthly report, your device updates to the latest software version.

Improving the recognition of exit signs

Eaton’s wireless exit sign luminaires are available with Increased Affordance function, designed to improve people's recognition of escape routes during an emergency situation. It enables illuminated exit signs to flash or pulse, which makes them more visible and could therefore speed up the process of evacuation.
