W270.4/8 - Self-contained portable luminaire

The EATON W270.4/8 portable luminaire is designed as a work and safety light.
In full power mode, it delivers up to 970 lumens for 6 hours, functioning effectively for work or spot lighting.
When operating in non-maintained emergency mode, it provides up to 24 hours of safety lighting.
Used with the included orange diffuser, a blinking function enables the lamp to serve as a warning signal.

The charging station indicates the actual charge status, and a blinking indicator informs of any power-interruptions while the product was in use (see EN 60598-2-22 E.7.12.).

Lighting modes

• The user-friendly rotary knob is safe and easy to operate even with gloves.

• Three LEDs next to the switch provide information about the battery’s charge status at all times.

W270 - Switch

• The emergency lighting function enables the luminaire to switch on in the event of a power failure, providing immediate safety lighting.

• For maximum runtime, the switch should be adjusted to 24h-15%.

• This setting provides 140 lumen - sufficient brightness to ensure safe movement.

Narrow beam

With the narrow-beam reflector and a beam angle of 11°, the portable luminaire is suitable as a searchlight with a range of up to 210 m (according to ANSI/NEMA FL1) or for illuminating an area from a great distance.​

Wide beam

The wide-beam reflector provides uniform light (beam angle 65°), making it suitable for use as a work light. The wide-beam light distribution is also used for the emergency light function, helping with orientation for up to 24 hours, e.g., in the electrical operating room.​

Orange diffuser

• With the selectable blinking function and the included orange diffuser, the portable luminaire is also suitable as a warning light for hazard areas.

• The diffuser is always stored within easy reach on the back of the portable luminaire.
