MEDC LD15M Ex LED Metallic Beacon Range

Eaton's Crouse-Hinds series MEDC LD15M range of metallic LED beacons is suitable for use in potentially explosive gas and dust atmospheres. They're suitable for both onshore and offshore environments in the oil, gas and petrochemical industries. ATEX, IECEx and INMETRO certified. This product also has SIL2.

The latest addition to the LD15 flagship beacon range not only aligns with the GRP version in terms of spare parts but also introduces enhanced application flexibility. With a removable guard, improved mounting hardware and swappable lens covers, it minimises spares inventory and allows for relocation – customers can simply select the relevant colour for the required location of the beacon to indicate a procedure, process underway or emergency notification.

The housings are manufactured from 316L stainless steel or LM25 marine grade aluminum. Stainless steel screws and mounting backstrap are incorporated ensuring durability in the field.

As well as being certified from -55°C to + 85°C , the LD15M has been designed to consistently energise at -55°C.
